
I am always surprised to see how much there is hidden underneath the surface of our streets. Cables, pipes and wires, all standing at the core of our modern urban experiences. We rarely pay attention to them, yet, it is the infrastructure that turned the congested industrial cities of the nineteenth century into the liveable cities we know today.
