Today, Brno was warm, pleasant, vibrant and full of people who were not ready to let summer go. I could sketch at any corner and would be able to find something exciting to capture! But I chose to draw an artistic installation in one of the streets: The Sharks.
What seems to be a sculpture sitting in the middle of a small square (Šilingrovo náměstí) proved to be a frequently used piece of street furniture! As if it were an ordinary playground, these kids were riding their Sharks, giving them meaning and purpose. The sculpture was lived and played with, and the whole square brightened by its existence. To me, a random person passing by, The Sharks have brought immense joy.
